2017 Summer Camps
To register you must fill out the registration form and make a payment. You may pay online here. If the camp is full we will put you on a waitlist-you will be notified as soon as possible, and any payment will be refunded. If you have already filled out a registration form for another camp, just make the payment and note what it is for. You are registered for camp when the registration form and payment are complete. Please pay as soon as possible or notify us if you have financial issues that preclude prompt payment. Payments are NOT refundable unless the camp is cancelled or (at SPI's discretion), or there are emergency circumstances. Much thanks to Ariel Foundation for providing subsidies that allow us to use a sliding scale camp prices to provide opportunities for all that fit your budget.

SPI/ BFEC Camps
Located at the Brown Family Environmental Center: Gambier, Ohio
Camp A: Nature "Play" Camp, June 5-9
Camp is instructed by Lori Zolman and runs from 9am-noon. Campers, ages 5-7, will explore nature by playing in various habitats including such as pine forest, creek/river, and ponds. Campers should expect to get dirty and be outside most of the time even in light rain.
Camp B: Nature "Play" Camp, June 12-16
Camp is instructed by Lori Zolman and runs from 9am-noon. Campers, ages 8-11, will explore nature by playing in various habitats including such as pine forest, creek/river, and ponds. Campers should expect to get dirty and be outside most of the time even in light rain.
Camp B2: "Family" Nature "Play" Camp, June 12-16
Camp is instructed by Lori Zolman and runs from 12:30 pm- 3:30 pm. Campers, ages 5-11, will explore nature by playing in various habitats including such as pine forest, creek/river, and ponds. Campers should expect to get dirty and be outside most of the time even in light rain.
Camp C: Concoction Camp, June 19-23
Camp is instructed by Lori Zolman and runs from 9am-noon. Campers, ages 5-7, will explore collecting, processing, and mixing various substances together in an outdoor environment to create "concoctions". Campers should expect to get dirty and be outside most of the time even in light rain.
Camp D: River Camp, June 26-30
Camp is instructed by Lori Zolman and runs from 9am-3pm, for ages 8-11. Campers will need to bring their own lunch. The camp intends to spend most of the time at the Kokosing river or creek feeding into it. If the river level is too high campers will spend time in other areas of the BFEC such as the pine forest. Campers will get wet and dirty!

Camp E: SPY Academy, June 19-23
SPY Academy is instructed by Bonnie Shutte and will meet 9am-noon. The Spy Academy is a small camp for campers finishing grades 3-5. Campers will explore essential spy skills.
