Teen Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with SPI Spot.
SPI is a great place to develop some marketable skills, add to your college application, fulfill community service requirements for graduation, and benefit your community.

We are looking for high school students who are willing to volunteer for at least four hours per month. We require a friendly and positive attitude and reliability.
As a volunteer you may have the opportunity to assist with educational programming, assist with exhibit rotation, interact with the public and children, and perform basic office duties including data entry and simple marketing tasks. Some light cleaning is expected.
Volunteers will have fun learning new skills, meeting new people and enjoy flexible scheduling. A volunteer will also receive Volunteer Hour Verification, if necessary at the end of each shift and a Letter of Recommendation when they have completed at least three months of volunteering.
